We're working with a fantastic secondary school in Bradford that's looking for a permanent History Teacher to join their team. This is the kind of school where staff feel valued, students are curious, and leadership genuinely supports professional growth.

You'll be teaching History across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 if that's your thing. Whether you're an ECT looking for your first classroom or an experienced teacher searching for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

The role

You'll be:

  • Teaching History across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that bring the past to life

  • Encouraging students to think critically, ask questions, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them

  • Supporting students to achieve their full potential

  • Becoming part of a welcoming school community that values both staff and students

What we're looking for

  • UK QTS or currently completing teacher training

  • A genuine passion for History and helping young people succeed

  • Strong classroom presence and positive relationship-building skills

  • The ability to make historical events, people and themes engaging and accessible

  • ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
