

Primary Teacher
We're working with a number of welcoming primary schools across South Shields and Sunderland who are preparing for the new academic year and looking to welcome enthusiastic Primary Teachers to their teams.
Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in supportive school environments where pupils are encouraged to thrive academically and personally.
We're looking for passionate and adaptable teachers who can create engaging learning experiences and inspire children to achieve their full potential.
What you'll be doing
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assessing, monitoring and recording pupil progress
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Contributing to the wider school community and school life
What we're looking for
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A genuine passion for primary education
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility and willingness to work across schools in South Shields and Sunderland
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle is beneficial but not essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
