Early Years Setting
The Role
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Support Practitioner to work within a nurturing nursery setting in Chelmsford.
This role involves providing 1:1 and small group support for children with additional needs, helping them access learning, develop key social skills, and thrive within an Early Years environment.
This is a long-term position, ideal for candidates passionate about supporting early childhood development and SEN.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 support for children with SEN
- Work alongside the class teacher and SENCo to implement support plans
- Encourage communication, interaction, and emotional development
- Support with personal care where required
- Monitor and record progress
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting
- Knowledge or experience supporting SEN (e.g. ASD, speech & language needs)
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 childcare) desirable
